 JULY 2010 EVENTS

The Swedesboro Library Branch of the Gloucester County Library System has a Satellite Library located in the Swedesboro Municipal Building, 1500 Kings Highway.  The hours for our Satellite Library are Monday through Thursday from 3-8 pm and Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm.  Call 467-0111 or online at www.gcls.org for more information.

We are pleased to announce that all children’s Summer Reading programs and adult programs will continue at the Bethesda United Methodist Church, 1433 Kings Highway, Swedesboro, across the street from the GCLS/Swedesboro Library Branch, during the construction of the new addition to the Swedesboro Library Branch.

Bring your toddler to our fun activities for our Summer Reading Program, “Make a Splash @ Your Library”, Summer Toddler Time.  All programs will take place at the Bethesda Hall.  The dates for July are the 6th, 13th, 20th, & 27th.  Toddler Time is best-suited for toddlers 2-1/2 to 5 years old.  Please call 467-0111 to register or register on-line.

Be a part of our Teen Advisory Board.  The teens will be helping with Summer Reading and participating in some of their own activities as well. Teen programs will take place on Wednesdays, July 14th, 21st, & 28th, at 2:00 pm at the Bethesda Fellowship Hall. Call 467-0111 for information on how you can volunteer or become an active member.

The following are the Summer Reading Programs for the month of July:

Registrations for Summer Reading will continue through the month of July.  Come to our Satellite Library on Mondays through Thursdays from 3:00-8:00 pm, and on Saturdays from 10:00 am to 2:00 p.m. or call 467-0111.  Registration and calendar information are available at our Satellite Library or online at www.gcls.org.  Let your children be part of all the wonderful programs taking place this summer.  All programs will take place at the Bethesda Church.  Space is limited for some of our programs, so register early!

Children interested in a homework or reading buddy for the fall, should contact the library at 467-0111.  Teens from our Teen Advisory Board assist younger children with homework and help them with reading skills.
