Swedesboro Historical Society
The Swedesboro-Woolwich Historical Society meets on
the
3rd Wednesday of the month at 7:00pm in Borough Hall.
The Swedesboro-Woolwich Historical Society provides educational and cultural events throughout the year. In the fall, a Civil War Living History Day is held. The Society co-sponsors the Annual Holiday House Tour in December. Talks and demonstrations are given at regularly scheduled meetings throughout the year.
The goal of the Society is to obtain and preserve the history of the Borough and surrounding township. To meet this end, the society collects and archives artifacts, photos, family histories, documents, books, and items which help to keep alive Swedesboro's history.
Please contact the Society if you wish to add to its collection or can give an oral history.
